A convenient method for the production of unsaturated epoxyacylals by electrophilic addition of unsaturated carboxylic acids (acrylic, methacrylic, and vinylacetic) to glycol vinyl glycidyl diethers is described.A series of previously unknown compounds of this type and their adducts with amines were synthesized and characterized.
