PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an acetoamide pyrrolidine derivative useful as a production intermediate for a chemokine receptor antagonist. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the method for producing the acetoamidepyrrolidine derivatives represented by formulas (wherein R1 and R2 are each independently hydrogen atom or R1 and R2 are each a protective group of an amino group in which R1 and R2 together may form a ring structure; R13, R14, R15 and R16 are each independently hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a 1-6C alkyl group which may be substituted with a halogen atom, a 1-6C alkoxyl group which may be substituted with a halogen atom or a hydroxy group; R3 is hydrogen atom or a 1-6C alkyl group) or their salts.
