Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 85025-08-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,5,0,2 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 0 and 8 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 85025-08:
(7*8)+(6*5)+(5*0)+(4*2)+(3*5)+(2*0)+(1*8)=117
117 % 10 = 7
So 85025-08-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Preparation and Reactivity of Platinumcyclobutadiene Complexes [PtCl2(C4R4)L]

Gerisch, M.,Steinborn, D.

, (2008/10/08)

H[PtCl3(C4H8)], prepared by reduction of H2[PtCl6] with n-butanol reactswith 2-pentylene to give equal amounts of the regioisomers [PtCl2(C4Et2 Me2)] (3a, 3b). An equimolar mixture of 2-butyne/3-hexyne reacts under the same conditions to give [PtCl2(C4Me4)] (1), [PtCl2(C4Et4)] (2) and [PtCl2(C4Et2Me2)] (3a) in a molar ratio 1:1.3:6.6. 1 and 2 react with ligands L (L= py a, p-tol b, PPh3 c, AsPh3 d, SbPh3 e) to give complexes ofthe type [PtCl2(C4R4)L]. The complexes were characterized by microanaly sis as well as by i.r., (1) H- and (13) C n.m.r. spectroscopy.

REACTIONS OF ACETYLENES WITH NOBLE-METAL CARBONYL HALIDES. V. CATIONIC TETRAALKYLCYCLOBUTADIENE PLATINUM(II) COMPOUNDS

Canziani, Franco,Galimberti, Franco,Garlaschelli, Luigi,Malatesta, Maria Carlotta,Albinati, Alberto

, p. 323 - 330 (2007/10/02)

cis-Pt(CO)2Cl2 reacts with symmetrically disubstituted acetylenes R-CC-R (R=C3H7, C2H5, CH3) in non-polar solvents to give ionic species of the type: .Far IR data and X-ray structural investigation of the compound obtained with 4-octyne show that the cation is dimeric, formed by two platinum atoms coordinated by a tetraalkylcyclobutadiene ring and bound together by three bridging chlorine atoms. These cations have been isolated as PtF6(-) salts, and are transformed into the neutral tetraalkylcyclobutadiene-platinum(II) complexes by reaction with Cl(-).The chemical characterization of some tetrapropylcyclobutadiene derivatives is also reported and the 1H-NMR spectra of tetramethylcyclobutadiene compounds are discussed. The crystals of n)2Cl3> are triclinic, space group P, a=14.721(8), b=9.642(6), c=8.098(6) Angstroem, α=68.32(4) deg, β=83.43(4) deg, γ=84.85(5) deg, Z=2.The structure was solved by Patterson and Fourier methods from counter data and refined by block diagonal least-squares to a final R=0.089 (for 1560 observed reflections).
