854534-97-7 Usage
Cyclohexane Ring
Presence of a six-membered carbon ring in the structure.
Methylphenylmethyl Group
Contains a methyl group (-CH3) attached to a phenyl group (C6H5), which is further connected to a methylene group (-CH2-).
Phenylmethyl Groups
Two phenyl groups (C6H5) attached to methylene groups (-CH2-) in the structure.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 854534-97-7 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 8,5,4,5,3 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 854534-97:
(8*8)+(7*5)+(6*4)+(5*5)+(4*3)+(3*4)+(2*9)+(1*7)=197
197 % 10 = 7
So 854534-97-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

The synthesis of N,N′-trisubstituted 1,2-diamines can be achieved by simple reduction of an aminal derived from (1R,2R)-diaminocyclohexane. We comment on the scope and limitation of this reduction and discuss its application towards the synthesis of unsymmetrical N,N′-tetrasubstituted 1,2-diamines.
