Kim, Sangmo,Kim, Sunggak,Otsuka, Noboru,Ryu, Ilhyong
, p. 6183 - 6186 (2007/10/03)
(Chemical Equation Presented) Remove contents from tin ... Thiol esters have been successfully synthesized through tin-free radical carbonylation (see scheme; V-40 = initiator). This approach can be further extended to sequential radical reactions involving cyclization, carbonylation, and trapping of acyl radicals by phenyl benzenethiosulfonate.
A HIGHLY CONVENIENT PROCEDURE FOR THE HYDROLYSIS OF TERMINAL PHENYL VINYL SULFIDES
Reutrakul, Vichai,Poochaivatananon, Patcharin
, p. 535 - 536 (2007/10/02)
Terminal vinyl and chlorovinyl sulfides are hydrolyzed by 70percent perchloric acid-thiophenol in benzene to the corresponding diphenyl thioacetals and thioesters in good yields.
