Three new thiosemicarbazones have been synthesized by condensation reaction of 2-bromo-1-arylethanones with thiosemicarbazide, which reacted with various 2-bromo-1-arylethanones in ethanol under refluxing to give a series of substituted ethanone hydrazone derivatives. Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, 1R, 1H NMR, and MS spectra.
