Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 868394-56-3 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 8,6,8,3,9 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 868394-56:
(8*8)+(7*6)+(6*8)+(5*3)+(4*9)+(3*4)+(2*5)+(1*6)=233
233 % 10 = 3
So 868394-56-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Design, synthesis, and structure-affinity relationships of novel series of sialosides as CD22-specific inhibitors

Abdu-Allah, Hajjaj H. M.,Tamanaka, Taichi,Yu, Jie,Zhuoyuan, Lu,Sadagopan, Magesh,Adachi, Takahiro,Tsubata, Takeshi,Kelm, Soerge,Ishida, Hideharu,Kiso, Makoto

body text, p. 6665 - 6681 (2009/11/30)

Sialosides incorporating substituted amides or amines at 9-position of sialic acid moiety have been synthesized and evaluated as CD22 inhibitors. Several derivatives exhibited inhibitory potency in sub- to low micromolar range (e. g., 80, 9d, 9g, and 9k s

Catalytic properties of several supported Pd(II) complexes for Suzuki coupling reactions

Vassylyev, Oleksiy,Chen, Jengshiou,Panarello, Anthony P.,Khinast, Johannes G.

, p. 6865 - 6869 (2007/10/03)

Pd(II) complexes with N-ligands were synthesized and tested for Suzuki coupling reaction. These complexes were also heterogenized on silica. The resulting site-isolated catalysts showed a high catalytic activity. The most stable complex was supported N-(propyl)ethylenediamine, which did not display any notable leaching. The effects of reaction conditions and the nature of the boronic acid derivative on the conversion of the starting compounds were studied.
