Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 871326-47-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 8,7,1,3,2 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 871326-47:
(8*8)+(7*7)+(6*1)+(5*3)+(4*2)+(3*6)+(2*4)+(1*7)=175
175 % 10 = 5
So 871326-47-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

A thiazole derivative, 2-(2,6-dichlorobenzyl)-N-(4-isopropylphenyl) thiazole-4-carboxamide (1), was identified as a TRPV1 antagonist. We synthesized various thiazole analogs and evaluated them for their ability to block capsaicin- or acid-induced calcium influx in TRPV1-expressing CHO cells. The IC50 values of the most potent antagonists were ca. 0.050 μM in these assays.
