Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 87587-19-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 8,7,5,8 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 87587-19:
(7*8)+(6*7)+(5*5)+(4*8)+(3*7)+(2*1)+(1*9)=187
187 % 10 = 7
So 87587-19-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 87 - 91 (2007/10/02)
In view of the antimalarial activity in mice 2-acetylpyridine thiosemicarbazones, a series of analogues 1-oxides was prepared for evaluation.Their synthesis was achieved by the reaction of 2-acetylpyridine 1-oxide with methylhydrazinecarbodithioate to giv
