Reaction of low coordinated 2,2-diphenyl-1-(2,4,6-tri-t-butylphenyl)phosphaethene with elemental sulfur afforded the corresponding 1,2-thiaphosphirane 2-sulfide 6 via methylene(thioxo)phosphorane 5.Desulfurization reaction of 6 gave the corresponding thia
Transition Metal Substituted Diphosphenes, XIV. On the Reactivity of the Diphosphenyl Complex (η5-C5Me5)(CO)2Fe-P=P-Ar (Ar = 2,4,6-t-Bu3C6H2) towards Sulfur, Selenium, and Tellurium. Synthesis and X-Ray Structure Analysis of the First Thioxo-λ5-diphospenyl Complex (η5-C5Me5)...

The diphosphenyl complex (η5-C5Me5)(CO)2Fe-P=P-Ar (1a) (Ar = 2,4,6-tert-Bu3C6H2) reacts with equimolar amount of sulfur to yield the first thioxo-λ5-diphosphenyl complex (η5-C5Me5)(CO)2Fe-P(=S)=P-Ar (2).Heating of 2 in boiling benzene affords the metal functionalized thiadiphosphirane 3.Similarily the selenoxo-λ5-diphosphenyl complex (η5-C5Me5)(CO)2Fe-P(=S)=P-Ar (5) and selena-diphosphirane 6 are synthesized. The products have been characterized by elemental analysis as well as by spectroscopic data (IR, 1H, 13C, 31P NMR, MS).The molecular structure has been elucidated by single X-ray analysis. - Keywords: Diphosphenyl Complex, Sulfur, Selenium, Tellurium, X-Ray Analysis

Reaction of sulfur (or selenium) with the germaphosphene 1 leads to new stable three-membered heterocycles, the germathiaphosphirane 3 and the germaselenaphosphirane 14. The structure of 3 was confirmed by X-ray crystal analysis (space group P1; a = 11.09
ETUDE DE LA REACTIVITE DU TRIS(TERTIOBUTYL)PHENYLDITHIOPHOSPHORANE
Navech, J.,Revel, M.,Kraemer, R.
, p. 207 - 210 (2007/10/02)
Heating of tris(tertiobutyl)phenyldithiophosphorane gives rise to an isomer with a tetracoordinated phosphorus atom. The action of triphenylphosphine loads to a tricyclophosphathiane which can be transformed in diphosphene by an excess of triphenylphosphine.Reactions with various nucleophilic derivatives (pyridine, triethylamine, diethylamine, butylamine, water, tetraphenylarsonium chloride) are described.
