The chemical compound "(C20H8N4Ph4C2(p-ClC6H4)2)Ru(CO)2" is a complex organometallic compound consisting of a ruthenium (Ru) center with a carbonyl ligand (CO) and a large organic ligand. The organic ligand is composed of a central C20H8N4Ph4C2 core, which is a polycyclic aromatic structure with four phenyl groups (Ph) attached. Additionally, there are two p-chlorophenyl groups (p-ClC6H4) attached to the central core. (C20H8N4Ph4C2(p-ClC6H4)2)Ru(CO)2 is characterized by its large size and complex structure, which can lead to unique electronic and steric properties. It is likely to be of interest in the fields of coordination chemistry, materials science, and potentially as a catalyst or in the development of new pharmaceuticals due to its ability to form stable complexes with a variety of substrates.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 90194-59-5 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,0,1,9 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 90194-59:
(7*9)+(6*0)+(5*1)+(4*9)+(3*4)+(2*5)+(1*9)=135
135 % 10 = 5
So 90194-59-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Rupture and Repair of the Porphyrin Inner Core: Carbon-Nitrogen Bond Breaking and Formation in Ruthenium Complexes of an N,N'-Bridged Porphyrin

Balch, Alan L.,Chan, Yee-Wai,Olmstead, Marilyn M.,Renner, Mark W.,Wood, Fred E.

, p. 3897 - 3902 (1988)

Treatment of the N,N'-vinyl-bridged porphyrin 1 with Ru3(CO)12 yields three products: the carbene complex TPPRu (3) (TPP is the dianion of tetraphenylporphyrin), and two Ru(II) dicarbonyl complexes 4 and 5 in which the N,N'-bridge remains intact, but the ruthenium has inserted into a pyrrole C-N bond.Complexes 4 and 5 differ in that 4 contains the C=C(p-ClC6H4)2 N,N'-bridge, while 5 contains a CHCH(p-ClC6H4)2 N,N'-bridge.Spectroscopic data (1H NMr, UV/vis, infrared) for the three products are reported.Crystals of 4, Ru(CO)2 x 1/2 CH2Cl2, crystallize in the monoclinic space group p21/c with a = 12.633(7) Angstroem, b = 19293(10) Angstroem, c = 19.820(9) Angstroem, β = 95.59(3) grad, Z = 4 at 130 K.The structure was refined to R = 0.079 for 640 parameters and 4172 reflections. The ruthenium is six-coordinate with two cis carbon monoxide ligands, bonds to two normal pyrrole groups, and bonds to the C and N of the ring-opened pyrrole. The damaged porphyrin is no longer planar.Upon heating, both 4 and 5 undergo C-N bond formation to reform the porphyrin ring.
