A SIMPLE PREPARATION OF TERVALENT PHOSPHIRENES
Lochschmidt, Siegfried,Mathey, Francois
, p. 2635 - 2638 (2007/10/02)
1-Chlorophosphirenium salts obtained from RPCl2, alkynes, and AlCl3 are easily reduced by tributylphosphine around O deg C to give the corresponding tervalent phosphirenes; when RPCl2 is replaced by PCl3, the same overall scheme gives a 1-(β-chlorovinyl)phosphirene which formally results from the addition of a second molecule of alkyne onto the P-Cl bond of the expected 1-chlorophosphirene.
Synthesis and X-Ray Crystal Structure of 1,2,3-Triphenylphosphirene
Marinetti, Angela,Mathey, Francois,Fischer, Jean,Mitschler, Andre
, p. 45 - 46 (2007/10/02)
1,2,3-Triphenylphosphirene is prepared from its P->W(CO)5 complex by a two step decomplexation procedure involving iodine and 1-methylimidazole; its X-ray crystal structure analysis shows a very strained ring (angle CPC = 41.8 deg) with no electronic delo
