Asymmetric Diels-Alder reactions in ionic liquids
Meracz, Ildiko,Oh, Taeboem
, p. 6465 - 6468 (2003)
Recent interest in ionic liquids has developed various uses for them, including some applications by synthetic chemists. Ionic liquids have joined the potential list of non-traditional solvents for Diels-Alder reactions. We report here our own efforts to
Asymmetric Diels-Alder reactions of 2-fluoroacrylic acid derivatives. Part 1: The construction of fluorine substituted chiral tertiary carbon
Ito, Hisanaka,Saito, Akio,Taguchi, Takeo
, p. 1979 - 1987 (2007/10/03)
For the construction of chiral monofluorinated tertiary carbons, we have examined the asymmetric Diels-Alder reaction of 2-fluoroacrylic acid derivatives beating a chiral oxazolidinone moiety. Under diethylaluminum chloride catalyzed conditions at - 100°C
Indium trichloride (InCl3) catalysed Diels-Alder reaction in water
Loh, Teck-Peng,Pei, Jian,Lin, Mei
, p. 2315 - 2316 (2007/10/03)
Indium trichloride (InCl3) is found to catalyse the Diels-Alder reaction in water; the catalyst can be easily recovered from water after the reaction is completed and can be reused.
