Usage

General Description

Atriopeptin III (Rat) is a peptide hormone found in rats that plays a role in regulating blood pressure and fluid balance in the body. It is a member of the atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) family and is released from the heart in response to increased blood volume and pressure. Atriopeptin III acts on the kidneys to increase the excretion of sodium and water, leading to a decrease in blood volume and blood pressure.
