It is also essential for analytical microbiology and industrial fermentation process. It is also used in bacterial diagnostics and in agro-food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical fermentation for production of biomass.
2. Tryptone-yeast extract-glucose medium may be used in response surface methodology in order to find optimimum conditions for the growth of Lactobacillus casei YIT 9018.
