General Description
"[4-(pyrrolidin-1-ylmethyl)phenyl]methanol, also known as PMK glycidate, is a chemical compound commonly used in the illicit production of MDMA (3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) or ecstasy. It is a precursor in the synthesis of MDMA and is also a key ingredient in the production of other designer drugs. Due to its role in the illegal drug trade, [4-(pyrrolidin-1-ylmethyl)phenyl]methanol is a controlled substance and its production and distribution are regulated by law enforcement agencies in many countries. The compound is highly sought after by illegal drug manufacturers and has been the subject of numerous crackdowns by law enforcement in an effort to disrupt the production and distribution of illicit drugs."
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 91271-60-2 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,1,2,7 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 91271-60:
(7*9)+(6*1)+(5*2)+(4*7)+(3*1)+(2*6)+(1*0)=122
122 % 10 = 2
So 91271-60-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
