Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 91734-85-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,1,7,3 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 91734-85:
(7*9)+(6*1)+(5*7)+(4*3)+(3*4)+(2*8)+(1*5)=149
149 % 10 = 9
So 91734-85-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

15N-Labelling Studies of the Reactions of 4-t-Butyl-2,6-dimethyl-4-nitrocyclohexa-2,5-dienone and 2,4-Di-t-butyl-6-methyl-4-nitrocyclohexa-2,5-dienone with Nitrogen Dioxide; the Mechanism of Formation of 2,5,6-Trinitrocyclohex-3-enones

Blunt, John W.,Hartshorn, Michael P.,Jensen, Richard G.,Waller, A. Grant,Wright, Graeme J.

, p. 675 - 687 (2007/10/02)

Reaction of the 15N-labelled 4-nitro dienone (15b) with nitrogen dioxide in benzene gives the 2,5,6-trinitrocyclohex-3-enones (19), (20), (22) and (24) with retention of some 15N-label at C6.Similar reaction of 15N-labelled 4-nitro dienone (18b) gives the

The Reaction of 4-t-Butyl-2,6-dimethylphenol with Nitrogen Dioxide; the Formation of Four 2,5,6-Trinitrocyclohex-3-enones and 4-t-Butyl-c-6-hydroxy-2,6-dimethyl-r-2,c-5-dinitrocyclohex-3-enone

Hartshorn, Michael P.,Penfold, Bruce R.,Sutton, Kevin H.,Vaughan, John

, p. 809 - 818 (2007/10/02)

Reaction of 4-t-butyl-2,6-dimethylphenol (13) with nitrogen dioxide in cyclohexane proceeds with some nitro-de-t-butylation, but reaction in benzene yields the four possible 2,5,6-trinitrocyclohex-3-enones (18), (19), (20), (21) and the hydroxy dinitro ketone (22).The structures and stereochemistry of these products were determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis. The mechanistic significance of the formation of these trinitro ketones (18)-(21) is discussed.
