Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 923259-70-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 9,2,3,2,5 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 923259-70:
(8*9)+(7*2)+(6*3)+(5*2)+(4*5)+(3*9)+(2*7)+(1*0)=175
175 % 10 = 5
So 923259-70-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

In order to assess the potential of sPLA2-X as a therapeutic target for atherosclerosis, novel sPLA2 inhibitors with improved type X selectivity are required. To achieve the objective of identifying such compounds, we embarked on a lead generation effort that resulted in the identification of a novel series of indole-2-carboxamides as selective sPLA2-X inhibitors with excellent potential for further optimization.
