Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 925004-43-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 9,2,5,0,0 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 925004-43:
(8*9)+(7*2)+(6*5)+(5*0)+(4*0)+(3*4)+(2*4)+(1*3)=139
139 % 10 = 9
So 925004-43-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
