The chemical compound "(RhClCO)(W(CO)3)(((C6H5)2P)2CH2)2" is a complex organometallic compound consisting of rhodium (Rh) and tungsten (W) atoms, with a central carbon monoxide (CO) ligand and a chloride (Cl) ligand attached to the rhodium. The tungsten is surrounded by three carbon monoxide ligands, forming a W(CO)3 unit. The compound also features two diphenylphosphinoethyl groups, ((C6H5)2P)2CH2, which are bidentate ligands, each chelating to both the rhodium and tungsten centers through their phosphorus atoms and the central carbon atom of the ethyl group. This structure results in a unique arrangement where the rhodium and tungsten are bridged by the diphenylphosphinoethyl ligands, creating a binuclear complex with a mixed-metal composition and a rich electronic structure.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 93555-57-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,3,5,5 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 93555-57:
(7*9)+(6*3)+(5*5)+(4*5)+(3*5)+(2*5)+(1*7)=158
158 % 10 = 8
So 93555-57-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and Structure of Sulfur-, Sulfur Monoxide-, and Sulfur Dioxide-Bridged Dimetallic Complexes of the Type 2(μ-S)(μ-L) and (μ-L') (M = Rh, Ir; M' = Mo, W, Mn; L = S, SO2; X = Cl, CO)

, p. 2217 - 2222 (2007/10/02)

The homo- and heterodimetallic complexes 2-(μ-S)(μ-SO2) (M = Rh, Ir) (2a, b), (μ-SO2) (M' = Mo, W; M = Rh, Ir) (5a-c), and (μ-SO2) (7) with SO2 in a bridging position are easily prepared from the corresponding complexes 2(μ-S) (M =Rh, Ir) (1a, b) (M' = Mo, W; M = Rh, Ir) (4a-c), and (6) by passing sulfur dioxide through their solutions. The X-ray structure analysis of 5a shows the SO2 ligand in a bridging position, whereas one CO ligand is semibridging.Treatment of the same starting materials with thiirane S-oxide does not lead to the corresponding SO-bridged dimers, with the only exception of 1b, which yields the new SO complex (μ-S) (8) is formed, accompanied by H2 elimination.Key Words: A-Frame complexes / SO2-bridged complexes / S, SO, SO2 ligands / Insertion reactions
