Interaction between phosphoric anhydride and organic compounds with prototropic properties
Efremov,Tebby,Zavlin
, p. 465 - 468 (2007/10/03)
Phosphoric anhydride has been shown to interact with organic compounds with prototropic properties, i.e. unsubstituted and monosubstituted amides, pyrimidinetriones, azoles and esters. Some products of phosphorylation have a tendency to exhibit phosphorotropy (1-3 and 1-4 shifts).
THE PHOSPHORYLATION OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS BY PHOSPHORIC ANHYDRIDE. PART 2, PHOSPHORYLATED AZOLES
Efremov, D. A.,Tebby, J. C.,Zavlin, P. M.
, p. 167 - 170 (2007/10/02)
Benzimidazoles and benzotriazoles are phosphorylated by phosphoric anhydride to give pyroamidophosphates (2) and their corresponding phosphoroamidic acids (3).N.m.r. data of the phosphorylated, 5,6-dimethylbenzotriazoles supported the existence of facile phosphorotropy.Key words: Phosphoric anhydride, benzimidazoles, benzotriazoles, phosphorylation, phosphorotropy.
