New formulation of blood substitutes: optimization of novel fluorinated microemulsions
Cecutti, Christine,Rico, Isabelle,Lattes, Armand,Novelli, Anne,Rico, Andre,et al.
, p. 485 - 492 (1989)
The synthesis of a novel microemulsion system composed of a mixed fluorinated and hydrogenated oil C8F17-CH2CH=CH-C4H9 with a biocompatible hydrogenated surfactant, Montanox 80 is described.Investigation of the solubility of oxygen in these microemulsions
A NEW METHOD OF FLUOROALKYLATION BY A WITTIG REACTION
Escoula, B.,Rico, I.,Laval, J. P.,Lattes, A.
, p. 35 - 38 (2007/10/02)
A new method has been developed for the introduction of a perfluorinated chain into an hydrogenated moiety. It is based on the use of a new fluorinated reagent, (C6H5)3P+-CH2CH2RF I- which couple to a non fluorinated aldehyde RH-C(O)H in a Wittig reaction.
A New Type of Water Insoluble Surfactant: Molecular Aggregation of Long Chain Phosphonium Salts (Ph3P+-CH2CH2R,I-; R = alkyl or fluoroalkyl) in Formamide
Escoula, B.,Hajjaji, N.,Rico, I.,Lattes, A.
, p. 1233 - 1234 (2007/10/02)
The molecular aggregations of various water insoluble substituted phosphonium salts (Ph3P+-CH2CH2R,I-; R = C4H9, C6H13, C8H17, C4F9, C6F13, C8F17) are compared and the results show that the salts have surfactant properties.
