Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 942076-74-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 9,4,2,0,7 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 942076-74:
(8*9)+(7*4)+(6*2)+(5*0)+(4*7)+(3*6)+(2*7)+(1*4)=176
176 % 10 = 6
So 942076-74-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

supporting information; experimental part, p. 1836 - 1846 (2011/05/30)

Inhibition of mutant B-Raf signaling, through either direct inhibition of the enzyme or inhibition of MEK, the direct substrate of Raf, has been demonstrated preclinically to inhibit tumor growth. Very recently, treatment of B-Raf mutant melanoma patients with a selective B-Raf inhibitor has resulted in promising preliminary evidence of antitumor activity. This article describes the design and optimization of tetrahydronaphthalene-derived compounds as potent inhibitors of the Raf pathway in vitro and in vivo. These compounds possess good pharmacokinetic properties in rodents and inhibit B-Raf mutant tumor growth in mouse xenograft models.
