The cycloaddition reaction of aromatic thioketones (aryl naphthyl thioketones and 2-benzofuryl phenyl thioketone) with 2-chloroacrylonitrile followed by elimination of hydrogen chloride gave some 2H-thiin derivatives.The products reacted with MCPBA and an
