The alicyclic products from Michael addition of the corresponding dithio acids in ratios of 1:1 and 2:1 were obtained by the reaction of the triethylammonium salts of N,N-diethyldithiocarbamic and O-ethylxanthic acids with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate.The reactions of the salts of dithio acids with methyl propiolate and dimethyl fumarate take place similarly.
