The chemical compound "W(CO)(C3H4CO)(S2CN(CH3)2)2" is a complex organometallic compound consisting of a tungsten (W) center. It features a carbonyl ligand (CO), a cyclopentadienone ligand (C3H4CO), and two dithiocarbamate ligands (S2CN(CH3)2). The carbonyl ligand is a neutral ligand that donates a pair of electrons to the metal center, while the cyclopentadienone ligand is an anionic ligand that also donates a pair of electrons. The dithiocarbamate ligands are bidentate, meaning they can bind to the metal center through two points, in this case, the sulfur atoms. W(CO)(C3H4CO)(S2CN(CH3)2)2 is likely to be used in various applications due to its unique structure and properties, such as in catalysis or as a precursor in the synthesis of other complex molecules.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 95069-45-7 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 9,5,0,6 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 95069-45:
(7*9)+(6*5)+(5*0)+(4*6)+(3*9)+(2*4)+(1*5)=157
157 % 10 = 7
So 95069-45-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Reactions of cyclopropenes with molybdenum(II) and tungsten(II) carbonyl complexes: Formation of coordinated vinylketene

Templeton, Joseph L.,Herrick, Richard S.,Rusik, Catherine A.,McKenna, Charles E.,McDonald, John W,Newton, William E.

, p. 1383 - 1388 (2008/10/08)

Cyclopropene reacts with Mo(CO)2(S2CNR2)2, Mo(CO)2(S2PR2)2, W(CO)3(S2CNR2)2, and W(CO)2(PPh3)(S2CNR2)2 to yield new complexes that are best formulated as M(CO)(C3H4CO)(BB)2 (M = Mo, W). Analogous products form when 1-methylcyclopropene reacts with W(CO)3(S2CNR2)2. Infrared, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopic techniques have been used to probe the mode of attachment of the newly formed vinylketone ligand, C2H3RCO (R = H, CH3), which evidently results from cyclopropene ring opening and CO insertion.
