A novel three-component one-pot pyrimidine synthesis based upon a coupling-isomerization sequence
Muller, Thomas J. J.,Braun, Roland,Ansorge, Markus
, p. 1967 - 1970 (2000)
(Equation presented) 246-Tri(hetero)aryl-substituted pyrimidines can be readily synthesized in a three-component one-pot process based upon a coupling-isomerization sequence of an electron-poor (hetero)aryl halide and a terminal propargyl alcohol subseque
Synthesis of isomeric bis(aminophenyl)pyrimidines from nitrochalcones
Borovik,Shkurko
, p. 254 - 258 (2008/09/19)
A series of isomeric bis(nitrophenyl)pyrimidines containing a phenyl substituent in the heteroring were synthesized from nitrochalcones and benzamidines. The corresponding isomeric bis(aminophenyl)-pyrimidines were prepared by reductive acetylation follow
Facile synthesis of triarylpyrimidines with microwave-irradiated reactions of N-phenacylpyridinium chloride
Wu, Ping,Cai, Xi-Mei,Wang, Qi-Fang,Yan, Chao-Guo
, p. 223 - 229 (2007/10/03)
In a system of ammonium acetate and acetic acid under microwave irradiation, N-phenacylpyridinium chloride 1 reacted with 2 mol of aromatic aldehydes 2a-h to give 2,4,6-triarylpyrimidine 3a-h, reacted with pyridinecarboxaldehyde 4a-c and acetophenone 5 to yield bipyridine derivatives 6a-c. The structure of the products was characterized with 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, and mass spectroscopy. Copyright Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
