The sulfur ylide complex (CO)5Cr (1) reacts with the biphosphino-substituted ylides 2a-d and Ph3P=C(SPh)PPh2 (2e) to yield five-membered metallacycles 3a-e, in which the novel double ylides CH2=PR2C(=PR3)ERn are incorporated as chelating ligands.The reaction of 2e with (CO)4Cr2 (7) leads to complex 8e, in which the ligand is attached to the metal atom via both hetero atoms.
