An improved method for tricyanovinilation of aromatic amines under ultrasound irradiation
Deligeorgiev, Todor,Lesev, Nedyalko,Kaloyanova, Stefka
experimental part, p. 74 - 78 (2012/01/05)
A synthetic method for tricyanovinylation under ultrasound irradiation has been developed for preparation of tricyanovinyl aromatic amines. The method is reliable and can be applied to the synthesis of a variety of tricyanovinyl compounds, with high yields, purity and with short reaction times.
Effects of nanoscale confinement and interfaces on the glass transition temperatures of a series of poly(n-methacrylate) films
Priestley, Rodney D.,Mundra, Manish K.,Barnett, Nina J.,Broadbelt, Linda J.,Torkelson, John M.
, p. 765 - 771 (2008/03/12)
We use fluorescence from dye-labelled polymer to measure the glass transition temperatures (Tgs) across single-layer films and near surfaces and silica interfaces in bilayer films for a series of poly(n-methacrylate)s. With nanoscale confinemen
The Preparation of Aromatic NLO Amine and Diamine Monomers for Polymerization: A Mild Mitsunobu Coupling Technique for the Tethering of Sensitive NLO Chromophores
Miller, R. D.,Hawker, C.,Lee, V. Y.
, p. 4393 - 4396 (2007/10/02)
Polymerizable NLO monomers, including those containing highly nonlinear, reagent sensitive chromophores, are prepared under very mild conditions using a deprotection strategy, coupled with Mitsunobu chemistry.
