Seventeen compounds (Ia-Iq) of the series 1-benzyloxy/phenoxy-8-alkoxy- and 1-alkoxy-8-benzyloxy/phenoxy-octanes have been synthesized.Most of them show multiple biological activity on mosquitoes, including juvenile hormonal activity.
