Oxidative conversion of silyl enol ethers to α,β-unsaturated ketones employing oxoammonium salts
Hayashi, Masaki,Shibuya, Masatoshi,Iwabuchi, Yoshiharu
supporting information; experimental part, p. 154 - 157 (2012/02/16)
The oxidative conversion of silyl enol ethers to α,β-unsaturated ketones using a less-hindered class of oxoammonium salts (AZADO +BF4-) is described. The reaction proceeds via the ene-like addition of oxoammonium salts to silyl enol ethers.
Sulfoniosilylation of α,β-Unsaturated Carbonyl Compounds. Facile Nucleophilic Substitution of 3-Trialkylsilyloxyalk-2-enylenesufonium Salts
Kim, Sunggak,Park, Joo Hyeon,Kim, Yong Gil,Lee, Joo Moon
, p. 1188 - 1189 (2007/10/02)
Sulfoniosilylation of α,β-enones and α,β-enals with trialkylsilyl triflate and dimethyl sulfide at -78 deg C affords 3-trialkylsilyloxyalk-2-enylenesulfonium salts, which undergo facile nucleophilic substitution with various nucleophiles.
Eicosatetraenehydroxamates: Inhibitors of 5-lipoxygenase
Kerdesky,Holms,Schmidt et al.
, p. 2143 - 2146 (2007/10/02)
The syntheses of 5-hydroxamyl and 5-hydroxamylmethyl-6,8,11,14,-eicosatetraenoic acids, which possess potent 5-lipoxygenase inhibitory activity, are described.
