FBC NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT: FBC Industries Introduces Another Clear Choice for the Beverage Industry PRESS RELEASE, April 3, 2007 - FBC Industries, Inc. announces the addition of OptaBlend (TM) SB 2020* to its Flavor Optimized (TM) line of liquid additives for the food and beverage industry. OptaBlend (TM) SB2020* is a specialized blend of FBC Industries’ Flavor Optimized (TM) products. OptaBlend (TM) SB2020* was originally created to target the specific antimicrobial needs of the beverage industry without adversely affecting beverage taste; however, use of the blend in beverages containing benzoates and ascorbic acid demonstrated considerably less benzene formation than when benzoates were used alone. This is exciting news for FBC and the beverage industry.
