The company is headed by a Chemical Engineer - a Research Professional. He is also the Managing Director of a 100% self funded research organization, FILTRA MATERIALS RESEARCH PVT.LTD., the companies' R & D and QC Laboratories which has ISO 9001 - 2000 accreditation. Growth areas for the company lie in exports, joint ventures, where it's looking for long term associates. The R & D unit of the group was awarded the coveted National Award For Import Substitution, from DGTD Govt. of India for development of Ceramic Candle Filter. The organization is promoted by Technocrats with background of decades of experience in Research, Product and Process Development. The Organisation has in the past decade grown, based on the Centralized In-house Research which has provided the basis for all its growth areas.
