About us

The company I.C.B., former Industrie Chimiche Barbini, has been founded in 1919 by two brothers Vittorio and Giovanni Barbini. Their main activity was based exclusively on minerals and chemicals distribution to Murano glass factories, but after few years they started also the production of pigments for the glass and ceramics industry. Albert Lomberg Gmbh was established in Mülheim an der Ruhr in 1956 joining the primary transport activity with the distribution of raw materials for the German glass factories. In 1991 the merging of I.C.B. s.p.a. with Albert Lomberg Gmbh gave life to an active group specialized in importing and exporting raw materials and chemical products for the following industrial fields: glass, ceramic, galvanic, textile, food. In 1998 I.C.B. s.p.a. bought a share in another chemical distributor located in the Mestre surroundings: K Chimica. This company is specialized in the import and trade of pigments and chemicals mainly for the paint and plastic industry. All the companies work in their own site: - Albert Lomberg in a 7,500 sq. m. plant in Mülheim an der Ruhr. - I.C.B. in a 10,000 sq. m. area in Venice Mestre and a 6,000 sq. m. area in Monastier (TV). - K Chimica in a 5.000 m2 area in Olmo di Martellago All three companies are properly settle…  Click for details>>
