About us

Established in 1970, Omega Chemicals is a 100% Australian owned and operated Company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of industrial chemicals. The Company's first manufacturing site was built in Brooklyn, Melbourne producing Aluminium Sulphate (Alum) for the pulp & paper and water & wastewater treatment industries. The Brooklyn plant still operates today and continues to service many of its original customers among a significantly increased client base. Since it's inception the Company has expanded throughout the eastern states of Australia, increasing the number of manufacturing sites to five including the completion of it's state-of-the-art Chlor-Alkali plant in Laverton which incorporates Omega Chemicals' Customer Service Centre.  Click for details>>
