About us

SA Calcium Carbide is situated on the outskirts of the town of Newcastle in the province of KwaZulu Natal, in the Republic of South Africa. The facility consist of two sites, namely the production furnace on the Karbochem site, whilst the screening and drumming facility is situated 17 km away on the Ballengeich site on the way to the south.  Click for details>>
