are more likely to cause these effects than insoluble compounds.
Inhalation of fumes may cause sore throat, coughing, labored breathing,
and irritation of the respiratory tract as well as the above symptoms.
Subacute to chronic toxicity:
Boron effects the central nervous system. Boron poisoning causes
depression of the circulation, persistant vomiting and diarrhea, followed
by profound shock and coma. The temperature may become subnormal and a
scarletina form rash may cover the entire body.
