relative density 1.52, melting point 34.6℃, refractive rate 1.432 (20℃). soluble in water, the aqueous solution is alkali, ph value of 1% aqueous solution is 8.8-9.2; insoluble in alcohol. weathering in the air. lose all the water of crystallization and turn to sodium pyrophosphate anhydrousif heated to 250℃.
