In this work, the synthesis of several racemic derivatives of 1-pyrindane as Rasagiline (cas 136236-51-6) analogues is described. The 1-pyrindane moiety was functionalised at C-7 position to afford the respective propargyl and isobutyl ethers, propargyl, isopropyl, n-propyl, and cyclopropyl amines and N,N-dimethyl- and diethylcarbamoyl derivatives. All the new prepared compounds were fully characterised by NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
