Uses of Benzene,1-methoxy-2,4-dimethyl-: it can be used to produce 2-iodo-4,6-dimethyl-methoxybenzene at the ambient temperature. It will need reagent benzyltrimethylammonium dichloroiodate(1-), ZnCl₂ and solvent dimethylformamide with the reaction time of 8 hours. The yield is about 91%.
