Calcium chrome(VI) dihydrate Specification

The Calcium chrome(VI) dihydrate, with the CAS registry number 10060-08-9, has the systematic name of calcium dioxido(dioxo)chromium hydrate (1:1:2). It is a kind of toxic oxidant, and may burn easily if contacting with boron. And the molecular formula of the chemical is CaCrO4.

The physical properties of Calcium chrome(VI) dihydrate are as followings: (1)#H bond acceptors: 4; (2)#H bond donors: 2; (3)#Freely Rotating Bonds: 0; (4)Polar Surface Area: 74.6 Å2.

Preparation and uses of Calcium chrome(VI) dihydrate: Heat the sodium chromate solution, and mix it with sufficient quantity of NaOH, keep the pH 10-11 at the same time. Then, mix it with superfluous 20 % CaCl2, and heat to 100°C. Dry it with the temperature of 230°C after precipitate and filter, then you can get the production. What's more, because of its good anti-corrosion behavior, it is usually used as inhibitive pigment. And it is also used as corrosion inhibitor, chemical reagent and oxidant.

You should be cautious while dealing with this chemical. It is a kind of flammable chemical. Therefore, you had better keep it away from sources of ignition, and do not smoke.

You can still convert the following datas into molecular structure:
(1)SMILES: [Ca+2].[O-][Cr]([O-])(=O)=O.O.O
(2)InChI: InChI=1/Ca.Cr.2H2O.4O/h;;2*1H2;;;;/q+2;;;;;;2*-1/rCa.CrO4.2H2O/c;2-1(3,4)5;;/h;;2*1H2/q+2;-2;;
(3)InChIKey: BCFSVSISUGYRMF-KDFDXKHIAB
