For example, it is used to produce {2-[3-Hydroxy-6-methoxy-2-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-4-oxo-3, 4-dihydro-2H-benzo[b][1, 4]thiazepin-5-yl]-ethyl}-methyl-carbamic acid benzyl ester. The reaction needs reagent KOH and solvent Dimethylsulfoxide. The reaction temperature is 30-35 °C. The yield is about 80.8 %.
