- Production Method of CDRI 87-144
-
CDRI 87-144 (CAS NO.: 128579-70-4), with its systematic name of Carbamic acid, (5-((4-methyl-1-piperidinyl)carbonyl)-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-, methyl ester, could be produced through many synthetic methods.
Following is one of the synthesis routes: Firstly, 4-Chloro-3-nitrobenzoic acid (I) reacts with thionyl chloride to afford the acid chloride (II) which is treated with 4-methylpiperidine to afford the amide (III). Next, amination of (III) with methanolic ammonia followed by reduction of the nitro group gives the diamine compound (IV), which reacts with 1,3-bis(methoxycarbonyl)-S-methylisothiourea affording CDRI-87-144.
