Preparation of Silver(i) fluoride: it can be prepared by silver carbonate and hydrofluorineic acid. Firstly, add silver carbonate into platinum dish, then add hydrofluorineic acid to completely dissolve. The whole synthesis process should be kept in dark place.

Uses of Silver(i) fluoride: it can be used as fluorinating agent. And it can be used in organofluorine chemistry for addition of fluoride across multiple bonds. For example, it adds to perfluoroalkenes in acetonitrile to give perfluoroalkylsilver(I) derivatives.
