The Sodium alginate sulfate, with the CAS registry number 9010-06-4, is also known as Heparinoid. What's more, its systematic name is Sodium polyanhydromannuronic acid sulfate. Its classification codes are: (1)Anti-Inflammatory Agents; (2)Anticoagulants; (3)Drug / Therapeutic Agent; (4)Hematologic Agents. This chemical is heparin derivatives. The term has also been used more loosely to include naturally occurring and synthetic highly-sulphated polysaccharides of similar structure. Heparinoid preparations have been used for a wide range of applications including as anticoagulants and anti-inflammatories and they have been claimed to have hypolipidemic properties.
