CODEN: GMITAB.In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 9001-90-5 and 9010-06-4 DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacodynamics) The ability of the mucopolysaccharide heparinoid Ateroid [9010-06-4] to stimulate plasma lipoprotein lipase [9004-02-8] activity and to inhibit the Triton-induced rise in serum antiplasmin activity, in rats, was greater when the drug was given (introduodenally) in a lipid suspension or as an oil-in-water emulsion than when given in water (with or without surfactants). The results are discussed in terms of the effects of some sulfated polysaccharides on lipoproteins involved in arteriosclerosis. .
