Thyme oil Specification

The CAS registry number of Thyme oil is 8007-46-3. It is a kind of colorless volatile oil and belongs to the classes of Alphabetical Listings; Essential OilsFlavors and Fragrances; Flavors and Fragrances; Q-Z. And it has special and comfortable fragrance and lasting piquancy. In addition, it is soluble in water and ethanol. And it has ability of antioxidant and anti-corrosion.

Preparation and uses of Thyme oil: it can be prepared by the flowers and leaves from Thymus vulgaris through drying and distillation. The yield is about 2.0%. And it can be used as edible flavoring for sauce, seasoning, sausage, pickles and meat.
