Photoirradiation reactions and crystal structures of two geometrical isomers of [Ru(OAc)(2cqn)2NO] (H2cqn = 2-chloro-8-quinolinol)
Photoirradiation reactions and crystal structures of two geometrical isomers of [Ru(OAc)(2cqn)2NO] (H2cqn = 2-chloro-8-quinolinol). Wang, Hongfei; Tomizawa, Hiroshi; Miki, Eiichi (Department of Chemistry, College of Science, Rikkyo University, Tokyo 171-8501, Japan). Inorganica Chimica Acta, 357(14), 4291-4296 (English) 2004 Elsevier B.V. CODEN: ICHAA3. ISSN: 0020-1693. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 74 (Radiation Chemistry, Photochemistry, and Photographic and Other Reprographic Processes) The photoirradn. reactions of two geometrical isomers (cis-1 and cis-2) of [Ru(OAc)(2cqn)2NO] (H2cqn = 2-chloro-8-quinolinol) were studied. Cis-2 [Ru(OAc)(2cqn)2NO] (2) photochem.Several substances with their cas registry numbers 15917-77-8 and 263006-83-3 may be metioned in this study. isomerized to cis-1 [Ru(OAc)(2cqn)2NO] (1) in CH2Cl2 or DMSO using an Xe lamp as a light source and the reaction was irreversible. The 2 to 1 isomerization coexisting with 15NO gas and its evolution of the 1H NMR spectra showed that the dissocn. and recombination of both the NO and the acetate ion involve in the isomerization. On the other hand, 1 did not isomerize but the NO ligand exchanged with 15NO. The crystal structures of 1 and 2 were detd. by x-ray diffraction. .
Pulmonary 15NO uptake in interstitial lung disease
Pulmonary 15NO uptake in interstitial lung disease. Heller, H.; Korbmacher, N.; Gabler, R.; Brandt, S.; Breitbach, T.; Juergens, U.; Grohe, C.; Schuster, K.-D. (Department of Physiology, University of Bonn, Bonn 53115, Germany). Nitric Oxide, 10(4), 229-232 (English) 2004 Elsevier. CODEN: NIOXF5. ISSN: 1089-8603. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 9 (Biochemical Methods) Section cross-reference(s): 14 Because lung nitric oxide (NO) diffusing capacity (DL) represents alveolar-capillary gas diffusion, we queried as to whether disturbances of pulmonary gas exchange in interstitial lung disease (ILD) are appropriately reflected by using NO. In this pilot study, we applied the 15N-labeled stable isotope 15NO (relative abundance 0.37% of total NO) in order to ignore the endogenous NO prodn. In 10 ILD-outpatients, we measured DL 15NO by performing the single-breath method. Lung function parameters as well as arterial oxygen partial pressure (PaO2) were also tested. Values of DL 15NO ranged within 50-151 mL 15NO/(mmHg min).Several substances like 15917-77-8 may be metioned in this study. Ratios of DL15NO/ref. were between 43 and 108% of predicted data as taken from our previous work on healthy volunteers [Eur. J. Physiol. 446 (2003) 256]. We found a significant redn. of DL 15NO/ref. in five patients. Addnl., values of PaO2 were significantly correlated to ratios of DL 15NO/ref. (adjusted R2 ± SEE = 0.407 ± 8.051). In conclusion, 15NO represents an appropriate indicator gas for reflecting an ILD-induced impairment of alveolar-capillary gas exchange. .
