Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) was used to analyze their performance and proposed fragmentation pathway in neg. ion mode. Neg. 139-85-5 and 23028-17-3 which are cas registry numbers of chemicals are mentioned. ion full-scan ESI-MS could be used for the water-sol. components of which 9 components were detected and ESI-MSp data were obtained. Their characteristic mass spectrum can be made by selective ion monitoring (SIM-MS). This method is simple, rapid and can be used for identification and study of characteristic fingerprint. .

(RP-HPLC) method for the simultaneous detn. of Danshensu (Dhpl), protocatechuic aldehyde (Pal), paeoniflorin (Pa) and ferulic acid (FA) in Guan-Xin-II decoction was established. The stationary phase was ZORBAX Extend-C18 reversed-phase column (150′4.6 mm 5mm), the mobile phase was A (MeOH-HAC , V/V):B (Water-HAC , V/V) with linear gradient elution (0 min, A:B=; 25 min, A:B=) and the flow rate was 1 mL/min. Detection was performed at wavelength of 280 nm, 230 nm and 321 nm resp. for Dhpl, Pal, Pa and FA under room temp. The linearity range of Dhpl, Pal, Pa and FA was 25.0-600.0 ng, 0.8-25.6 ng, 80.0-1280.0 ng and 10.0-160.0 ng and the correlation coeff. (r) of them was 0.9993, 0.9999, 0.9995 and 0.9994, resp. The av. recovery (n=5) was 102.19% for Dhpl (RSD=0.51%), 100.54% for Pal (RSD=4. 139-85-5 and 23028-17-3 which are cas registry numbers of substances are two of reagents here.67%), 99.99% for Pa (RSD=5.02%) and 98.6% for FA (RSD=6.72%). CRP-HPLC is a simple and effective method for quality control and therapeutic drug monitoring of Guan-Xin-II decoction. .
