Thus, in pot expts., a compn. contg. 96 g I(R = Et) [66441-11-0], 100 g II(R = Et) [25059-80-7], and 25 g 2,6-dichloropicolinic acid/ha, totally controlled Hordeum vulgare, Avena fatua, Alopecurus myosuroides, and Matricaria chamomilla, whereas the components by themselves were less effective. The compn. was not phytotoxic to rape (Brassica napus).
